Terms of Service

The agreement between you and VoxaRTC for use of the SDK and the hosted service.

Last updated 21 August 2026

1.Who these terms are with

VoxaRTC is operated by Md. Shamsuzzaman, a sole proprietor based in Bangladesh ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as merchant of record for every purchase. Paddle is the seller shown on your invoice and card statement, and Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside these terms.

2.What the service is

VoxaRTC has two parts, and they are licensed differently:

  • The SDK — client libraries published on pub.dev, released under the MIT licence. You may use, modify and redistribute them on those terms, with or without a paid plan.
  • The hosted service — the servers that carry your calls, the App IDs and certificates that authorise them, and the console. This is what a paid plan buys, and these terms govern it.

We may change, improve or discontinue parts of the hosted service. If we discontinue something you are paying for, we will tell you and refund the unused portion of your current period.

3.Your account

You are responsible for your credentials — your console password, your App IDs and your App Certificates — and for everything done with them. Tell us promptly if you believe they have been exposed; we can rotate a certificate immediately, which invalidates tokens signed with the old one.

You must give accurate account information and keep it current. One person may not share an account to circumvent plan limits.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • break any applicable law, or help anyone else to
  • transmit content you have no right to transmit, or that infringes someone else's rights
  • harass, threaten, or facilitate abuse of any person, including minors
  • attack, probe or overload our infrastructure or anybody else's
  • resell raw capacity as a competing realtime infrastructure product

We do not monitor the content of calls (see the privacy policy), but we will act on credible reports. Where we can, we will warn you first; where the harm is serious or ongoing, we may suspend an App ID or an account immediately.

5.Plans, billing and taxes

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, per 1,000 monthly active users, at the rates published on our pricing page. A monthly active user is one person who joins at least one channel in the calendar month, counted in UTC. Additional applications are charged per month each, beyond the first.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice, taking effect at your next renewal. Paddle collects any sales tax or VAT due and shows it at checkout.

The free plan includes 2,000 participant minutes per calendar month and one project. When the allowance is exhausted, new joins are refused until the month resets. It carries no service commitment.

6.Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from the console; your plan continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are governed by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach of these terms, or for non-payment. If we terminate for our own convenience, we refund the unused portion of your current period.

7.Your data and ours

You keep all rights in your applications and in the content your users transmit. You grant us only the permission needed to carry that content between participants and to operate the service.

We keep all rights in the hosted service. The SDK is yours to use under the MIT licence.

8.Availability

We work to keep the service available and we publish no uptime guarantee on the self-serve plans; they are provided on an "as available" basis. Enterprise agreements may include a service level commitment, in which case that agreement takes precedence over this clause.

We are not the phone network. Calls depend on your users' connections and on third-party networks we do not control.

9.Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to the address on your account, and the change takes effect at your next renewal. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

11.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction — except that either of us may seek injunctive relief anywhere it is needed.

12.Contact

Questions about these terms: support@voxartc.com. Billing questions can also go to Paddle, whose contact details are on your invoice.
